Building Project

RESOURCE CENTRE - COMPLETED

The recently completed building project comprises a science laboratory, as well as a new resource centre with a computer suite. This approach reflects current educational direction and is in keeping with government guidelines for student learning. At the same time, it allows us to offer a more diverse curriculum for our students.

ENTRANCE GATES AND SIGNAGE

It is time for the old Drive-In gates to be replaced and the entrance to the school to receive an upgrade. Michael Cooper has come up with a design that will be the basis for this development. This entrance will help to create a better initial impression of the school for new clientele. The construction will be undertaken by the parent community and where necessary contracted out to various companies.

Cost of Project: $20000
District Grant: $5000
Completion: TBA

New signs bearing the change in name to Eastside Lutheran College are being costed and will be erected to replace the current ones.

PRIMARY SCHOOL OUTDOOR LEARNING AREA

After our successful clearing of the area outside the Primary School, we intend to create an outdoor learning area. Decking would be used for this extension as well as sails to offer protection. We will also be doing some landscaping of the area. This project will also be one for the parent community to undertake.

Costings and drawings are still to be finalized.
