Early Years Curriculum K-2
At ELC we know children’s early learning experiences lay crucial foundations for their future education. Our K- 2 nature play environment maximizes learning possibilities and priority is given to a creating learning environment that is motivating, engaging, flexible, inviting, challenging, and supportive for our young learners.
Our focus on strengthening continuity of learning across the early years from kindergarten to Year 2 ensures all children and families experience a positive transition to school so children become successful learners now and into the future. The development of young learners’ literacy and numeracy skills is progressively built upon, reinforced, and strengthened through high-quality teaching and learning and children increasingly develop critical thinking, creativity, reflection, and problem-solving through investigation across all curriculum areas.
