Join Us for the Launch of Cubes Loses His Bum

Eastside Lutheran College is excited to partner with The Odd Mob for the official launch of the new Tasmanian children's picture book, Cubes Loses His Bum, on Monday 2 November 2026.

Designed for children aged 5–8, Cubes Loses His Bum is a delightfully quirky and humorous story that encourages reading, imagination and a love of books. The launch promises to be a fun-filled celebration of literacy, creativity and community.

Students will enjoy a special live reading of the book by renowned Tasmanian actors John X and Andrew Casey, alongside creators Kim Linnett and David Gurney from The Odd Mob. The event will also feature an interactive quiz with prizes and plenty of laughter along the way.

The morning will bring together students, staff, families and special guests to celebrate the power of storytelling and the joy of reading. Guests attending the launch will also have the opportunity to support our school library through an optional book donation.
