Kindergarten
Kindergarten is a warm, nurturing and hands-on introduction to school life. Our program builds important skills through daily school routines where independence, communication and confidence are developed in gentle, purposeful ways.
Students enjoy specialist lessons each week, giving them early exposure to the same rich opportunities offered across the primary school. Assemblies and Chapel services are part of our weekly timetable, intentionally helping children feel connected to the wider school community and giving them a sense of belonging.
As a Christian school, faith is at the heart of everything we do - children are introduced to the key values of Christianity and invited to wonder how their unique gifts and talents can be used.

Alongside spiritual foundation, our program is highly intentional about investigative play and exploration, with indoor and outdoor play spaces carefully designed to support social, emotional and academic growth.
Our weekly Bush Kinder sessions immerse children in nature encouraging problem-solving, creativity and a deep appreciation for God’s creation. Friendships, communication and self-expression are nurtured every day, ensuring strong personal and social foundations.

Kinder also develops core academic readiness through structured, evidence-based programs. We use an explicit Phase 0 Literacy program where children develop essential phonemic awareness and foundational literacy skills that lead into early reading and writing success. Alongside this, students engage in an explicit, hands-on daily Mathematics review, which introduces them to number concepts, multiplicative thinking and other foundational mathematical ideas in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
These intentional practices foster high expectations for our Kindergarten students, encouraging them to see themselves as capable, curious and confident learners who are excited about school. Everything we do at Kindergarten is designed to ensure children not only begin Prep with success but also develop a love of learning that will carry them through their schooling journey and beyond.
